Alisha began working for her Aunt Lea, Wonderly Carpet Care's previous owner, in 2013. Lea Wonderly built an amazing business in her 40 years of owning the business but in 2019 she decided it was time to retire and spend more time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Alisha purchased Wonderly Carpet Care on December 31, 2019 and has continued building an amazing business. "It's easy to do when you are doing a job you truly enjoy and had such a wonderful teacher." says Alisha.
Hi! My name is Alisha and I live in Northwest, OH with my husband Nate and our daughter Lainey. I am a certified carpet cleaning technician and will be cleaning carpet and upholstery for 11 years on October 1, 2024. When my Aunt Lea asked if I wanted to work for her I didn’t know what all the job entailed. My first job was cleaning church pews with our upholstery tool (a very small tool). My back hurt and I thought “what am I doing?” We then had to clean a set of stairs at our next customer’s and since I was learning I was the one to clean them, again with our small upholstery tool. By the end of the day, my back and arms were sore and I was second guessing working for my aunt. Fast forward 10 years, I now own the business and can truly say I love what I do. It doesn’t seem like “work” when you meet such great people daily and enjoy what you do. Having Adrianne work with me doesn’t seem like “work” at all. We have so much fun together and I’m so fortunate to have such a trustworthy, hardworking employee who I’m grateful to call my friend and who enjoys our “job” as much as I do.
Hi, my name is Adrianne and I live in Oak Harbor, Ohio with my husband Dean and my 3 children, Ryleigh, Kobe and Devin. I was blessed to have been able to work from home while also being a full time mom for the majority of my kids lives. As my children got older I was looking for work outside of the home that would still allow me to be there for my kids as much as they needed.
I grew up in Fremont, Ohio across from Lea Wonderly. Our families were super close and have stayed close through the years. When Lea called me and offered me a job I knew it would be a wonderful business to work for. Alisha and I became co-workers who grew into close friends. Most days don't even feel like work. I love what I do, who I work for and meeting new people each day.
